About Us

Purity Laboratories, Inc., formerly Food Quality Labs, is an independent laboratory with more than 40 years experience in analytical product testing.

During the early years we supported the food processing industry with accurate and timely results at reasonable rates. In 2008, Food Quality Labs was purchased by K & D Laboratories. In June 2010, the laboratory’s name was changed to Purity Laboratories, Inc. In July 2010, the laboratory moved to larger, new facilities in Lake Oswego, OR.

Purity Laboratories continues to offer analytical testing of food, water and environmental products. It also has expanded capabilities for nutraceutical testing to address new Food and Drug Administration regulations for the nutritional supplement industry.

Our new ICP-MS offers our customers the newest technology for detecting and analyzing metals in products. The equipment is the state-of-the-art methodology for measuring metal ions in simple or complex matrixes, in micro or macro concentrations.
